Former Singida Mayor Yagi Kiaratu Declares Parliamentary Bid for Singida Urban Constituency

Former Mayor of Singida Municipality and Ward Councilor for Majengo (2020–2025), Yagi Kiaratu, has officially declared her intention to run for Member of Parliament for Singida Urban Constituency in the upcoming 2025 General Election.
On June 28, Kiaratu collected nomination forms at the ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) district offices in Singida Urban, signaling her commitment to contest in the parliamentary race under the CCM ticket.
During her leadership as both Ward Councilor and Mayor, Yagi Kiaratu gained widespread recognition for her visionary leadership, progressive development agenda, and patriotic dedication to the people of Singida Urban.
The nomination process is ongoing at the CCM district office in Singida Urban in a peaceful and united environment. The exercise is expected to conclude on July 2, 2025.
