The Attorney General of Tanzania, Hamza Johari, has urged citizens to maintain trust in institutions that provide justice, emphasizing that his office will continue improving legal and justice services for the public.
He made the remarks today during an event organized by the Office of the Attorney General held at the Office of the Regional Commissioner in Singida, where vehicles belonging to the non-governmental organization SEMA were officially handed over.
Following the handover ceremony, the Director of SEMA in Singida Region, Ivo Manyako, thanked the government for returning the organization’s vehicles, which had previously been confiscated. He said the vehicles will greatly assist the organization in carrying out its daily operations.
Manyako made the remarks on April 22, 2026, during the event attended by the Attorney General at the Office of the Regional Commissioner in Singida.
The vehicles had earlier been seized by a court auctioneer following a legal case related to the burning of vehicles that were parked inside the organization’s garage.
