Bongo Flava star Mbosso, known for his emotionally rich and captivating music, has made a remarkable comeback after parting ways with Diamond Platnumz’s music label.
Following his exit, Mbosso took some time off to work on fresh music, and his return has been met with overwhelming support from fans, now that he's managing his career independently.
He recently released a new Extended Playlist (EP) featuring seven tracks. The song "Pawa" has stood out as the biggest hit, attracting over two million views on YouTube. Other tracks on the EP include Asumani, Aviola, Tena, Siko Single, Merija, and Nusu Saa.
"Pawa" has gained massive traction and is trending among fans, cementing Mbosso’s place as a powerful solo artist. His successful reintroduction mirrors that of Harmonize, who also left Diamond’s label and was warmly received after releasing his smash hit "Uno."
Although the reason behind Mbosso’s departure from the label remains unclear, it’s evident that he is thriving as an independent artist.
Before his solo success, Mbosso was part of the once-popular Yamoto Band alongside fellow artists Aslay, Beka Flavour, and Enock Bella. He also gained fame through singles such as Tamba and Huyu Hapa, among other chart-topping tracks.
