Rehema Omary Sombi, the Vice Chairperson of the National Youth Wing of the ruling party (UVCCM), has officially collected and submitted nomination forms to contest for a Special Seat in Parliament, representing the youth at the national level.

Speaking to journalists shortly after returning the forms, Rehema commended the Secretariat of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) led by Secretary General Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi for organizing the nomination process in a peaceful and orderly manner.

Sombi expressed confidence in her preparedness and capability to represent the youth effectively, stating that she is well-versed in implementing the party’s manifesto.

"I want to assure you that the honor I’ve received has already prepared me enough. As members of CCM, we own the shop – now we are going there to help make laws that will protect the youth, for whom we are seeking this mandate," she emphasized
