Today, President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan officially launches the National Development Vision in Dodoma Region. According to those who led the process, the Vision was developed through an inclusive and participatory approach by collecting feedback from Tanzanians across the country.
In total, the initiative reached over 1.14 million people (1,140,000), whose views were gathered directly through field visits and engagement sessions. Additionally, more than 22,000 people shared their opinions via social media platforms, with over 8,000 submitting their thoughts through digital channels alone.
This Vision is designed to chart the future of Tanzania’s development, focusing on sustainable growth, social well-being, and national prosperity. It reflects the voices of the people and the aspirations of the nation as it looks ahead to long-term progress.

Dira hiyo kwa imewafikia
watu milioni moja laki moja na elfu arobaini (1,140,000) ambao walifikiwa na
walioenda kuchukua maoni wakati huo katika mitandao ya kijamii zaidi ya watu
elf ishirini na mbili walitoa maoni yao huku watu elfu nane walitoa maoni yao
kupitia mitandao ya kijamiii.
Dira hii inalenga
kuangazia maendeleo kwa taifa pamoja na ustawi wa jamii ya Tanzania.
